![]() Trust me when I say that you’re going to die for the sauce, and you’re going to want to put it on everything! It’s spicy, it’s creamy, it’s noodle-y, it’s vegan-friendly. These noodles were born from a combination of everything that we love. And we thought, what if we replaced the almond butter with tahini… and put it over noddles (because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love noodles)… and make it spicy, since we both love spice?! When we were figuring out what to make, Hannah was remembering a almond butter stir-fry recipe that she loved. So when I asked her if she wanted to create a recipe with me, she immediately said “yes”, and I’m so glad, because we were able to come up with this fun recipe together! These Spicy Tofu Tahini Noodles were created with my social media manager, Hannah. ![]() ![]() Plus, they’re totally vegan, refined sugar-free, and can easily be made gluten-free, too! This is not-your-traditional noodle dish, but I promise, you’re going to love it! These noodles are a little creamy, a little spicy (or a lot spicy, if you want them to be!) and are loaded with tons of veggies and baked tofu. ![]() Drizzle with extra peanut sauce, herbs, sriracha, chopped peanuts, and lime wedges.My tahini obsession continues with my latest creation: my Spicy Tofu Tahini Noodles. Building the spicy tofu peanut noodle bowls: Divide the noodles evenly between bowls, top with vegetables and tofu.Add half the satay sauce into the tofu - stir until it's thick and sticky over medium heat (around 2-4 minutes). Remove tofu from oven and transfer to skillet. Finish the tofu: heat a non-stick skillet or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.Expert Tip: Chopping adverse? Skip the chopping and buy pre-cut veggies in the produce aisle at the grocery store! Prep the vegetables: Cut, chop, dice the veggies.Cook the noodles: Prepare the rice noodles as per package instructions.While the tofu is cooking make the noodles and prep the veggies. Arrange on a parchment lined baking sheet in a single layers. Prepare the tofu: Cut tofu into cubes, toss with cornstarch mixture.Make spicy peanut sauce for tofu: Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until creamy and smooth.While the tofu is pressing, make the sauce. Press the tofu: Wrap the tofu in a few paper towels or clean kitchen towel and place a few heavy cookbooks or cast iron skillet on top.Here's what to do (with a few time management tips): There are a few steps, but they're all easy - this peanut noodles with tofu recipe is easy to manage. This spicy tofu bowl is delicious served hot or cold and leftovers are incredible. Noodles: Rice noodles or vermicelli noodles are my go to, but soba or zucchini noodles, rice or quinoa are delicious gluten-free choices as well.As well, mint, cilantro, and Thai basil add authentic flavor, nutrients, and freshness. For this bowl I used: carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, red pepper and avocado (optional). What vegetables should I use?: Super customizable, choose any crunchy vegetables you have on hand.Gather together peanut butter, orange juice, lime juice, soy sauce (tamari), sesame oil (optional), maple syrup, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, and sriracha sauce. Peanut sauce for noodles: This spicy peanut dressing is totally addictive! It's very easy to make with only basic pantry items and takes just a few minutes to whip together.You'll find it in the refrigerator or deli section of the grocery store. Tofu: Firm or extra-firm organic tofu is the perfect texture for this tofu satay.Here's what you'll need to make these spicy peanut sesame noodles with tofu: This tofu recipe is going to change all of that - I promise!!
